Lechazoconf
A quick post after the lechazoconf. I think it went great but it’s hard for me to judge, I prefer to wait at least a week, close the budget and see all the reactions and feedback.
I just want to describe the conference in numbers:
- 13 talks sent to the Call for Papers
- 6 amazing volunteers
- 9000€ in expenses (around, final number in a week)
- 12 speakers
- 203 attendees (220 estimated)
- 495MB in files
- 125 brochettes
- 659 emails received or answered
- 9 hours and 50 minutes being trending topic
- thousands of tweets
- 0 ambulances called (-1 from the previous big event I organized)
- 0 press reporters
- 7300€ spent in food and drinks (around)
- 3 web designs
- 18 sponsors
- 0 speakers harmed the night before
- 231 files on drive
- 11 email campaigns
- 392 tweets by the official twitter account
- 61.4% as the lowest open rate in an email campaign
- 10+ failures of the slide remotes
- 10+ postits :P
- Lots of videos
- 110 photos by the amazing part-time photographer, part-time presenter, part-time community manager
- 400+ water bottles
- 123 tasks in trello (soon to be public)
- 20 seconds per slide in rachel’s lightning
- 10+ tweets or whatsapps making fun of my way of presenting the time remaining
- 5 blog posts by the sponsors
- +10000 messages on slack (:P)
- 9 amazing organizers and me
Hope you had as much fun as I had. See you around! :)
